Stakeholders from Albania, Kosovo[*] and Macedonia (representing public administrations and other public bodies, the private sector and NGO’s) will get together for the 7th time in order to continue with the discussions related to cooperation and implementation of activities for sustainable economic growth of “Sharra” cross-border region. The meeting is organized on behalf of the Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG) in the South-East Europe within the 2nd phase of the EU funded project on implementation of the Area Based Development Approach (ABD-a) in the Western Balkan countries.
Mr. Ibsen Elezi, the Mayor of the Kukes County will personally welcome the participants on June 5th in hotel “Shahu” in Kukes, Albania.
The main topic: “People to People Program and preparation for the integrated economic development in the Sharra region – application procedures and Grant scheme” will be elaborated by the representatives of the SWG, “Sharra” Project Management Unit.
During the meeting, new members of the SHG Sharra will be also introduced to the participants and short information regarding the ongoing ABD Grant Scheme for integrated economic development in the “Drina –Tara” and “Drina – Sava” CB regions will be disseminated.
