The final meeting of the REAWG on Quality Policy will gathered national, regional and international experts as well as representatives of the relevant authorities to discuss final results of the assessment of the quality policies and schemes of geographical indications and traditional specialties in the Western Balkans.

The activity is part of the 3-year regional program “Support to Economic Diversification of Rural Areas in Southeast Europe (SEDRA)”, jointly implemented by SWG and GIZ, aiming at strengthening the institutional capacities of selected stakeholders in Southeast Europe for supporting EU-compliant economic diversification in rural areas. Quality policy – schemes of geographical indications and traditional specialties (PDO, PGI, TSG) is a topic that is selected within the project, as part of the economic diversification agenda in SEE countries.
