The Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG) in South-Eastern Europe will support the organization of the manifestation: ”Fishing Day 2014” which is organized for the first time and tends to develop in traditional manifestation as part of Kukes Regional Council calendar of events.
The aim of the event is to officially open the fishing season in Fierza Lake and to promote the proper way of fishing and its importance as an economic activity, as well as to point out the importance of the environmental protection and preservation of the natural habitat of aquatic flora and fauna.
The event will be organized in cooperation with “INCA NETWORK” which will be responsible for educational component. The Fierza Lake “Fishing day” will be organized as a regional event gathering participants from Albania, Kosovo* and Macedonia (“Sharra” cross-border region).
The SWG support will be provided within the SWG EC project: “Preparation for implementation of the Area Based Development (ABD) Approach in the Western Balkans – 2nd phase” – activities related to promotion of People-to-People actions in the
