“Saborsko prelo – Interactive workshops on traditional handcrafts”, 17 September, 2017 in Trsic, Loznica, Serbia

The Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group in South-Eastern Europe Europe within the SWG GIZ project “Rural development through integrated forest and water resources management in Southeast Europe: Rural perspectives: qualification, reintegration and (self) employment”  will support the organization of the regional event “Saborsko prelo – Interactive workshops on traditional handcrafts”, which will be organized by the Tourism organization of Loznica as part of the manifestation “Vukov Sabor” and will be held on 17.09.2017.

The aim of the regional event “Saborsko prelo – Interactive workshops on traditional handcrafts” is education of women on how to start their own business by producing of traditional handicrafts, hence economic empowerment of women by providing interactive lecture for making handicrafts and finding possibilities for their sale in the form of authentic souvenirs.

The event “Saborsko prelo – Interactive workshops on traditional handcrafts” will contribute to the promotion of rural tourism in the cross-border region “Drina-Sava” and promotion of traditional handicrafts as an opportunity for self – employment.
