Grant Scheme Investments

The ABD Grant schemes are designed to support small projects in the Western Balkan cross-border regions related to income generation by improvement of production process, technology and quality of products and services in various value chains (tourism, agriculture, etc.). It supports partnerships of a cross-border character but also individual projects/businesses who have potential of expanding and engaging into cross-border partnership in the near future. The focus is on a sustainable business projects and partnerships who are in line with the local development strategies and considering important economic initiatives.

The SWG Head Office/Secretariat on behalf of the Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group has launched the Call for proposals “ABD Grant Scheme”, as a part of the activity within the project “Rural development through integrated forest and water resources management” (LEIWW) SWG and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), financially supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Development Cooperation (BMZ). This Grant Scheme is also supported and facilitated by the European Union funded project “Fostering regional cooperation and balanced territorial development of Western Balkan countries in the process towards EU integration” implemented by SWG.
