During the 46th SWG Assembly session the realized activities in the period September - December 2019, annual planning of the regional activities and initiatives in the period of 2020 were discussed as well as the cooperation with SWG partner institutions.
The 44th SWG Assembly Session was attended by SWG delegates from the member institutions from: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and representatives from observer institution from Croatia. The purpose of the meeting was to present accomplishments in the period December 2018 – April 2019, upcoming major SWG events (Agricultural Policy Forum 2019 and Annual Meeting of the Ministers from SEE 2019), cooperation with other international organizations and institutions. Representatives of eight out of nine SWG member institutions, participated on the 23rd SWG Assembly meeting which was held from 8th – 9th of May in Milocer, Montenegro. Beside the representatives (delegates) from the SWG member institutions, representatives of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina participated on the meeting as observers as well as representatives from the Ministry of Regional Development of Hungary and the representatives of SWG partner institutions and international organizations (GIZ, FAO, OA and USAID).
The 40th Assembly Session of the Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG) in South Eastern Europe was co-organized with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture Forestry, Environment and Water Management of Austria in the period 04th – 07th December 2017 in Graz, Austria.
The 43rd SWG Assembly Session was hosted by the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture of Germany (BMEL), and attended by SWG delegates from the member institutions, observer institutions, as well as GFA, GIZ and SWG Secretariat. The purpose of the meeting was to present a retrospective of the achievements in 2018 and the plan for 2019. In addition, representatives of BMEL shared their experiences on relevant agricultural policy topics.
