Standing Working Group for Regional Rural Development (SWG) in South Eastern Europe within the European Union funded project “Regional cooperation and networking in the field of agriculture, rural and economic development of cross-border areas” is opening the Public Call for support to people to people activities.
People to people activity represent tool for strengthening networking, cooperation, promotion of the cross-border regions and their cultural, traditional, natural heritage and enabling economic potential, both in terms of products and services, as well as creation of cross-border value chains/links.
Within the project “Regional cooperation and networking in the field of agriculture, rural and economic development of cross-border areas” activities can be implemented in the targeted cross-border regions “Krsh“, “Pcinja – Krajishte“ and “Prokletije – Bjeshket e Nemuna“ in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo*. Manifestation/activity need to be implemented latest by 01.11.2018. Any support requested under this Call must not exceed 2,000 EUR excluding VAT. The overall budget of the event and other contributions are not limited. Unfortunately, according to EU procedures, SWG will not support activities in EU member countries (Croatia, Bulgaria), but costs for participants (transport, accommodation, engagement of experts) from this country in the scope of people to people activities will consider as eligible cost.
The following countries/territories and municipalities are eligible for implementation of the People-to-people events:
Cross-border region of Pcinja – Krajishte
Macedonia: Staro Nagoricane, Rankovce and Kriva Palanka
Serbia: Crna Trava, Bosilegrad, Surdulica, Bujanovac and Trgoviste
Cross-border region of Prokletije – Bjeshket e Nemuna
Kosovo*: Peja, Decan, Junik
Albania: Shkodra, Malesi e Madhe, Tropoje
Montenegro: Plav, Andrijevica, Berane, Rozaje
Cross-border region of Krsh:
Montenegro: Herceg Novi, Kotor, Tivat and Niksic
Bosnia and Herzegovina: Ljubuski, Citluk, Stolac, Capljina, Neum, Berkovici, Bileca, Gacko, Ljubinje, Nevesinje and Trebinje
SWG invites all interested stakeholders from the public, private and civil sector to apply for events that contributes to the above listed SWG objectives. Please, fill in the application form and budget, and to submit documents latest by 13.04.2018 till 17:00h. via e-mail on:
In the e-mail subject line please indicate for which cross-border region you are submitting the application (ex. Subject: P2P Pcinja-Krajishte)
The application can be submitted on local languages, after which SWG Secretariat in cooperation with commission consisted of representatives from the respective Ministries of agriculture from the Western Balkan countries and external experts will make a decision for selection of events for financing according to the eligibility and ranking criteria. Upon approval, application with budget should be submitted in English language.
It should be NOTED that the official version of the documents is one presented in English language and in case of contradiction and discrepancies the English version will prevail.
