The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development of the Kosovo* and the Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group in South-East Europe (SWG) jointly hosted the 6th annual working meeting of the Ministers of Agriculture from South-East Europe in Pristina on November 16th.
The Ministers and Heads of Delegations had an open discussion about the common interests of the countries in the SEE region and about resolving differing issues and views.
The general conclusion of the Ministers was that they reconfirm their commitment to the shared vision and mutual regional cooperation ethics and remain committed to the European Union (EU) integration process.
With respect to the cooperation and reforms in the sector of agriculture and rural development, the Ministers welcomed the recommendations outlined in the Ohrid Agenda 2012, especially underscored the importance of the topics discussed (CAP-Gap analysis, Area Based Development Approach and Joint Water and Forest Management) within the platform of the Standing Working Group on Regional Rural Development in South-East Europe (SWG).
During the meeting, the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development of Kosovo* – Blerand Stavileci took over the presidency with the SWG from his Macedonian colleague – Ljupco Dimovski.
