Tara Ultra Trail was held last weekend in the beautiful Tara National Park with participation of 300 competitors from the country and the region. Sixty (60) competitors took part in the most difficult 64 km race with a cumulative ascent of 3,300 m. The guest from Macedonia, Dejan Todevski, showed great form, winning in front of Zeljko Zeljkovic and Bojan Avramovic. Among female participants, the best was Nevena Rajković, followed by Jelena Filipović and Rebecca Fabrizi.
There was also excellent competition in the races of 37 and 25 km, where in total 126 competitors took part. The fastest race, of 12 km, showed that Tara has a lot to offer to “forest sprinters”!
The activity is part of the project” Diversification of economic activities in rural areas of Southeast Europe: value chain investment support and capacity building” implemented by SWG RRD in partnership with GIZ.
