For the eight year in the row Domestic Products and Household Work Fair have been organized in Lopare within the manifestation “Diaspora Days”. It brought together exhibitors from the “Drina-Sava” cross – border region. The fair was organized in the port of the church in downtown Lopare, with 56 exhibitors from the region and visited by few hundred visitors. Domestic products such as honey, cheese and dairy products, jams, juices, brandy, dry cured meat products have been presented. On the other hand, fair promoted as well handicrafts, folk costumes, wood items, sculptures, icons, ornaments within promotion of the tradition and heritage of the region. This year fair was visited by Minister of Foreign trade of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Mirko Sarovic and Mr. Boban Ilic, SWG Secretary General.
The event is part of the project “Diversification of economic activities in rural areas of Southeast Europe through value chain development” implemented by SWG and GIZ.
