The Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG) in South-Eastern Europe in partnership with GIZ within the project: “Diversification of economic activities in rural areas of Southeast Europe through value chain development” will support the organization of the manifestation Original creativity, preservation and cultivation of intangible cultural heritage of the Lim and Tara regions ”Tromeđa bez međa” which will be organized by Women association “Sacuvajmo selo” and which will be held on 23rd June 2019 in Priboj, Serbia.
The aim of this Event is to revive all segments of the former gatherings of the people from the bordering area, to preserve the tradition and original creativity of the cross -border region and increment of visibility of resources and tourist offer in the promotion of tourism potentials of the whole region connected to the Drina and Lim rivers.
The specific objective of this Event is to network all actors in the region to strengthen joint activities and increase visibility on preserving the tradition in the border devastated parts of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
This Event will contribute to restoring the importance of the Municipality of Priboj as bordering municipality and its positive effect on tourism, rural development and preservation of intangible cultural heritage (original creativity, tradition etc.) of the cross-border region “Drina-Tara” as well as strengthening the capacities of associations that gather women from the rural areas from Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
