The “Regional Gastronomic Fair” event was organized by Tourism and Agriculture Development Fund / TAD-F and was held in 05th of September 2019 in the Municipality of Strpce.
The aim of this Event was to preserve cultural heritage and natural beauties of the Municipality of Strpce and Sharra cross-border region as well as to promote the reach tourism offers, agriculture production, traditional cuisine.
The specific objective of this Event was to promote and preserve quality gastronomic offer based on the traditional recipes; to taste, increase awareness and knowledge of local products such as Sharra Cheese, raspberry juice, jam and honey; promote joint tourism through bringing together catering service providers, hotels, food and drinks distributors.
This Event contributed to successful cooperation established between gastronomic services from “Sharra” cross-border region, which will mean expansion of the available market for healthy food products. Also, the event contributed to positive impact on the income generation of the mountain tourism value chain, by developing better synergies between mountain actors, responsible for tourism and mountain products supply chains.
