Report from the interim meeting of the REAWG on Quality Policy, 16 – 17 April 2019, Durres, Albania


The interim meeting of the REAWG on Quality Policy gathered national, regional and international experts, representatives of the relevant authorities, as well as the Slow Food network, to discuss progress on the assessment of the schemes of geographical indications and traditional specialties in the Western Balkans.

The activity is part of the 3-year regional program “Support to Economic Diversification of Rural Areas in Southeast Europe” (SEDRA), jointly implemented by SWG and GIZ, aiming at strengthening the institutional capacities of selected stakeholders in Southeast Europe for supporting EU-compliant economic diversification in rural areas.
