With aim to increase promotion of agro-rural products and stimulate local businesses, economy and further promotion of the region, on 28th February regional conference about the challenges and opportunities for rural development and agro business was held.
The purpose of this conference was to facilitate dialogue between all stakeholders from Macedonia and Kosovo* for different traditional activities that contribute to sustainable economic growth and development of the region and promote the cultural and natural values of the “Sharra” cross-border region. The Fair followed after the conference where local and regional exhibitors had a chance to present traditional products and handicrafts, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, milk products, and the visitors had the opportunity to taste and purchase traditional products directly from the producers and thereby to help to increase the local economy.
This event was organized by Community Development Institute – Tetovo and Municipality of Jegunovce and Agro Red Gold.
