SWG Team screening the effects from the floods in “Drina-Sava” and “Drina-Tara” cross-border regions, May 2014


The SWG team consisted from representatives of the SWG Head Office/ Secretariat and Project Managements Units of the “Drina-Tara” and “Drina-Sava” cross-border areas are performing a field mission for screening of the situation in the areas affected by the flood in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia, particularly in the affected municipalities in the cross-border regions “Drina – Tara” and “Drina – Sava”.

With the support from the representatives from the Stakeholder Groups of “Drina-Tara” and “Drina-Sava” as well as local authorities of the affected municipalities, this mission will assess the damages in the affected municipalities, with a special focus on agricultural sector.

The report which will result from the mission will be disseminated to relevant national, regional and local authorities as well as to institutions of the European Union and international donor community to serve as a basis for planning and provision of adequate support for sanitation of the damages and revitalization of the affected areas.
