Formalizing the AKIS System and Creation of the Knowledge Reservoir in SEE

The meeting aimed to review the progress of AKIS work in Southeastern Europe, formalize the AKIS system, and construct the Knowledge Reservoir. The REAWG intends to prepare for the June gathering to have a high-level AKIS meeting that contributes positively to the APF dialogue.

Third Meeting of the Working Group on AKIS held during the APF 2022

The APF 2022  calls public authorities of the Western Balkans to enable functional and integrated Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS) in the region. National AKIS action plans should be adopted, leading to enhancing existing and creating new structures and forms of networking, capacity building and knowledge exchange of all actors in the agri-food system.
