Capacity Building

Twenty rural women entrepreneurs who own or manage rural businesses participated in the workshop. The training focused on enhancing rural businesses through online tools and intermediary platforms for product promotion, market access, and sales.

Capacity Building covered topics related to the structure and organization of manifestation events, their impact on cultural development within the community, and the role of volunteerism and local community activism. Participants had the opportunity to work in groups, discussing issues such as event organization, fundraising, volunteer engagement, and community involvement.

Participants analyzed where they are related to project planning and management, mobilization of the volunteers and involvement of the local community as well as fundraising for their manifestation and evaluation afterwards.

The primary objectives of the workshop were to enhance participants' skills in managing and developing rural tourism businesses, optimize the use of online booking channels and platforms, and educate service providers on adding value to their services to improve guest satisfaction and garner positive reviews.

Throughout the 2-days workshop, participants enjoyed and shared their experiences, and had an opportunity to have individual consultations and work together with a mentor for crating and improving the general performance of their businesses in online channels.
