- The SWG delegates participated on the International Fair Green Week and the WS:” Transnational Cooperation between LAGs in South-East-Europe and the EU” organized by InWEnt and GTZ HQ. - During the fair and the WS, the SWG delegates had a chance to meet colleagues from different countries and organizations, as well as to discuss transnational cooperation in regard to the LEADER approach. January 2008 in Berlin, Germany

The SWG initiative was presented during the Forum for rural development and regional cooperation organized by the Macedonian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy. The Forum was intended for Ministers of Agriculture from SEE countries. Ministers from SEE countries (Albania, Montenegro, Macedonia) or their deputies/ State Secretary (Bulgaria, Serbia) participated on the Forum and discussed the national policies for rural development and possibilities for strengthening the regional cooperation.

The Secretariat of the SWG, in cooperation and supported by the InWEnt – Capacity Building International organized the Study Tour: “Best practices in Regional Rural Development”

The project team of the cross border project in the border region of Macedonia, Serbia and Bulgaria, organized the Donor Conference which aim was to present to the national and the international donors the potentials of the local rural municipalities situated in the EUROREGION Skopje – Nis – Sofia.

As per the invitation from InWEnt – Capacity Building International and GTZ – HQ Germany, the Secretariat of SWG promoted the initiative and its activities on January 20th, 2007 during the East–West Agricultural Policy Forum and Green Week International Trade Fair in Berlin

The Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (RRD SWG) participated and promoted the initiative and activities on Euregia 2006 in Leipzig from October 23 - 25, 2006.
