The two-day workshop wqs focused on the rural tourism service providers (rural households, degustation centers, eco-villages, rural households, and other providers in rural tourist facilities or for those who intend to be engage in rural tourism) with the aim to build capacity and to improve business in rural area.
The SWG Head Office/ Secretariat opens Call for expression of interest for Project Assistant. The position is located in the SWG Secretariat Headquarters in Skopje with responsibilities spanning over the entire Western Balkans region. This position requires a full-time engagement. The engagement will last until the end of 2024 with possibility for prolongation, as per the needs of the SWG.
BIOFACH is the world's leading Trade Fair for Organic Food and is organized in the Nuremberg Exhibition Center from February 13-16, 2024. In the frame of BIOFACH Fair of Organic Food, representatives from the SWG RRD met German Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture in order to exchange on the cooperation and once again reiterate the continued commitment to the joint projects and successful collaboration in the framework of the Agricultural Policy Dialogue Germany – SEE.
AgroReS 2024 is an event that will contribute to the promotion of new scientific knowledge, as an important prerequisite for improving food production.
Agriculture is of great economic and social importance in South East Europe. It is characterized by small-scale structures and heterogenous climatic and geographical conditions, and holds great ecological potential, e.g. in terms of agrobiodiversity. However, climate change and migration pose particular challenges. Agricultural policy management is hampered by insufficient financial and technical capacities.
SWG RRD together with its member institutions, Ministries of agriculture from SEE participated at the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) entitled Food Systems for Our Future: Joining Forces for a Zero Hunger World! The GFFA is the pioneering international conference of the agri-food sector. It provide key impetus for the agri-food systems of the future.
