International Slow Food Festival in Bijelo Polje, organized under the initiative of Slow food Montenegro-Bjelasica, Komovi and Prokletije, where local producers and artisans from the Western Balkans presented their products.

Apple days in Gorazde, Bosnia and Herzegovina

This event provided opportunity for networking, cooperation and exchange of information in the field of agricultural production and the food industry. This contributed to preservation of tradition of apple growers which dates to ancient history, when this area was known for fruit production. Around hundred exhibitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina and neighboring countries participated in the Fair of traditional products.

Village gatherings, Loznica, Serbia

Village gatherings is event that brought together residents of rural settlements of the City of Loznica, Serbia with the aim to preserve the traditional way of living, improve social and economic activities in the countryside through non-agricultural activities. The event promoted old customs, crafts, songs, games and other traditional and cultural values of this region.

The main objectives of the event are to discuss the challenges of rural women in the Western Balkans, the challenges of statistical data availability and accuracy in the process of design and implementation of agriculture and rural development policy measures, and to present the developed modules for SDG 5.a.1 implementation in the Western Balkans.

Workshop with Focus Groups: HuMUS – Healthy Municipal Soils

During the Workshop, HuMUS project was presented, participants filled in the Focus group questionnaire, and the discussion was made. It was agreed that continuous dialogue and communication is needed and that efforts for its maintenance are going to be made.
