People-to-people (P2P) event/action is a tool for strengthening the networking, cooperation, promotion of the cross-border regions and their cultural, traditional, natural heritage. The event/action is enabling the economic potential, both in terms of products and services, as well as for further development of the cross-border regions. Organization of regional manifestations, events, round table discussions, and trade fairs enabling local stakeholders to present offer from their respective areas and provides an excellent model for creation of sustainable partnership for other open calls in the cross-border regions. This has result in an increased sense of joint identity and networking in the cross-border regions.

Slow Food Festival, Bijelo Polje, Montenegro

International Slow Food Festival in Bijelo Polje, organized under the initiative of Slow food Montenegro-Bjelasica, Komovi and Prokletije, where local producers and artisans from the Western Balkans presented their products.

Apple days in Gorazde, Bosnia and Herzegovina

This event provided opportunity for networking, cooperation and exchange of information in the field of agricultural production and the food industry. This contributed to preservation of tradition of apple growers which dates to ancient history, when this area was known for fruit production. Around hundred exhibitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina and neighboring countries participated in the Fair of traditional products.

Village gatherings is event that brought together residents of rural settlements of the City of Loznica, Serbia with the aim to preserve the traditional way of living, improve social and economic activities in the countryside through non-agricultural activities. The event promoted old customs, crafts, songs, games and other traditional and cultural values of this region.

National Days of Cultural Heritage celebrated in Gjirokastra, Albania

The 5th edition of the KULT-ART activity aimed at activating artisans and young people interested in learning trades such as woodworking, stone working, and embroidery techniques of folk costumes, etc., with the aim of preserving the heritage and increasing the tourist offer. Prespa Apple harvest Festival traditionally organized in Resen, North Macedonia

For the 23rd time this event was organized in three consecutive days by the Municipality of Resen. Оn this day, an event is traditionally organized for the ceremonial plucking of the first apple in Prespa, where representatives of local, regional and national institutions and delegations from the state and the region attend.
