The tastes of the mountain traditional fruit and vegetable processing within the agricultural farm

Agricultural household Zivanovic, Bajina Basta, Serbia produce raspberries, blackberries, plums, apples, cherries and collect medicinal herbs and forest fruits from the slopes of the Tara mountain and in the valley of river Drina. Understanding the potentials of the nature and the need for healthy products, Nikola Zivanovic with his family started to process their fruits into juices, jams, compotes, liqueurs, and other products. Carefully produced or collected in clean and unpolluted in surrounding forests, meadows, fields and orchards and well packed in small bottles, these products can easily find its place at the market. With the support of grant investment, equipment for processing of fruits (fruit blending machine and dryer for fruit and medicinal herbs) was bought. Also, promotion of this agriculture household was supported with procurement of stand for presentation of products at fairs and events and development of on-line store.
