The exhibition “Folk Costumes and Handicrafts of Macva”, 8-14 August, Bogatic, Serbia


Within the project: “Diversification of economic activities in rural areas of Southeast Europe: value chain investment support and capacity building” SWG RRD in partnership with GIZ supported the organization of the Bogat Fest 2020 – The exhibition of local handicrafts and folk costumes” which was held from 8-14 August in Bogatic, Serbia.

As a traditional event, Bogat Fest 2020 promoted traditional regional handicrafts and folk costumes as well as empower women and youth entrepreneurship.

The exhibition “Folk Costumes and Handicrafts of Macva”, designed and organized by the Union of Ecologists “UNECO” Podrinje from Sabac, presented and promoted rich tradition of this region. The exhibition have been organized in accordance with the national and local recommendations and  measures for the suppression of Covid19. During that time the exhibition visited 150 local visitors.

The authors of the exhibition were Dragana Malisic Markovic from the Association UNECO and Sanja Dimitrijevic from the Folklore Ensemble “Djido”.
