SWG member and observer institutions have gathered in Ohrid, North Macedonia, for two days of discussions on regional priorities, upcoming milestones and future cooperation in agriculture and rural development.
The 66th SWG Assembly Session provides a platform for representatives to review progress, coordinate regional initiatives and agree on priorities for the months ahead.
Key discussions focus on follow-up to the Agricultural Policy Forum and implementation of the Prishtina Agenda 2026. Delegates are also preparing for the 20th Annual Meeting of Ministers of Agriculture from South-East Europe, scheduled for the end of September in Belgrade.
The agenda also covers climate change adaptation, the work of the Regional Expert Advisory Working Groups and the development of the SWG Strategy 2026–2030. The session will help guide SWG activities across the region and reinforce cooperation among participating institutions.
