Balkan Eco Fair Celebration of Natural and Sustainable Practices


For the fifth year in the row, the International Fair of Medicinal and Ornamental Plants,  Spices, Bee Products, and Mushrooms took place in Vranje, Serbia. The fair was organized by the City of Vranje and lasted from June 1th until 8th and featured a rich and diverse program designed for the Balkan Eco Fair. In addition to sales and exhibition of products, visitors enjoyed a variety of expert lectures and participated in a field-educational segment in the surrounding area of Vranje Spa.

Various workshops were conducted. Workshop focused on healthy food was fun and informative where participants learned how to make healthy sour milk bread. The workshop of preparing and tasting tees, followed by exhibitions of mushroom and herbs and additionally, trainer Momčilo Antonijević delivered a lecture on the powerful, medicinal, and magical herbs of the ancient Slavs.
