The second dissemination of evidence-based policy recommendations meeting planned to be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina is realized in Sarajevo in Foreign Trade of Commerce of Bosnia and Herzegovina premises, organized by SWG in auspices with the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This meeting was one of the planned activities within the regional project SEDRA II implemented by GIZ in partnership with SWG. The project aims at facilitating evidence-based policy development and regional dialogue for improved policymaking. Development of the evidence-based policies is essential since its purpose is to inform the process and advocate a systematic approach. Attention is being paid to how policies developed at the national level can be tailored to the local conditions, as well as to framework conditions and policies that are shaped at the regional or territorial level. One of the aims of the SEDRA II project is the dissemination of evidence-based policy recommendations. The meeting participants were addressed by Assistant Minister for Agriculture in the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Slobodan Cvijanovic and SWG Policy Advisor Mr. Dusan Neskovic.

📌 Ms Suzana Madzaric from the Agriculture institute of Bari informed odium about the ongoing ANC project which is in effect a continuation of the SWG Assessment supported by the Italian government and implemented by CIHEAM in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The meeting was attended by 45 participants. After each of the presented topics, a discussion was opened, and the attendees could actively participate asking for more information or discussing presented themes.
