The event gathered around 40 relevant participants: experts and representatives of the public, private and civil sector. Results of assessments of agricultural and rural development policies conducted by the SWG Regional Expert Advisory Working Groups were presented and discussed on the following topics:
- Agricultural policy developments and EU approximation process
- Economic Diversification Policies and Rural Tourism
- Areas with Natural Constrains
- Soil Management
Comparisons were made with the policies of the countries/territories of the Western Balkans and the EU. Appropriate policy recommendations were provided for enhanced sustainable development of the agricultural sector and the rural areas of the Republic of Srpska.
