The Organic Advanced School took place in Shkodra, Albania, from 05 to 10 October 2025, gathering young professionals, farmers, researchers, and representatives of institutions from Western Balkans and Moldova. The programme provided a comprehensive learning experience focused on organic farming principles, regional cooperation, and practical skills.
Throughout the week, participants explored key topics such as soil management, plant protection, certification standards, and market opportunities. A field visit to successful organic farms and processing facilities in Albania offered valuable insights into real-life practices and business models. Group work and country presentations encouraged the development of national visions and joint initiatives for advancing organic agriculture in the region.
The Organic School concluded with the presentation of project ideas, networking activities, and the awarding of certificates. The event strengthened regional dialogue and contributed to building future capacities in the organic sector of the Western Balkans and Moldova.
