From 21–23 September 2026, Chisinau became a meeting point for organic agriculture stakeholders from South East Europe and across Europe. The programme brought together three interconnected activities to demonstrate the value of combining regional cooperation, practical field learning and market-oriented dialogue to support the further development of organic agriculture in South East Europe.

Exposure Visit – participants visited Prograin Organic Ltd and Regina Naturii Ltd to see organic production and business practices in practice. With the support of EOCC expert, participants explored critical points, risks and precautionary measures for safeguarding organic integrity.
Regional Conference on Organic Agriculture – policymakers, experts, producers, exporters, certification bodies and European importers discussed organic markets, certification, exports and access to EU markets. The conference also provided opportunities for direct exchange between organic businesses from the region and importers from Moldova, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands. Opened by Eugeniu Osmoschescu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry of the Republic of Moldova, the conference focused on European organic market trends, certification and supply-chain integrity, export and import requirements, and opportunities for improved access to EU markets.
The event was organised in the framework of the Agricultural Policy Dialogue Germany – South East Europe (APD SEE). As implementers of APD SEE, SWG RRD and IAK Agrar Consulting GmbH were closely involved in organising the conference together with Moldovan and international partners.
