The first activity within the People to People action is organized on April 24th, 2024 in the Cultural Centre Lopare by the Tourist Organization of Lopare in cooperation with the Municipality of Lopare, Republic of Srpska, B&H. Current conditions were presented with existing incentives for farmers provided from the national and local level, along with the presentation of advantageous agro-climate conditions conducive to farming in the Majevica region. Five rural women showcased examples of best practices by promotion of their agricultural households and the products they produce, such as cow and goat milk, cheese, honey, and various fruit and vegetable products.

On 25th June, 2024 the Municipality of Lopare hosted an event to promote rural areas and tourism potential in the Majevica mountain area. The organizer presented tourism and natural assets and shared successful examples. They also discussed improving tourism offerings and effectively using the existing potential. The Lopare municipality’s tourism potential significantly increased with the successful launch of “Majevicka kuca,” a sales center for local agricultural products. Mr. Rado Savic, the mayor of Lopare municipality, officially inaugurated “Majevicka kuca.” The launch event featured a tasting session showcasing locally produced goods and a marketplace for homemade products from the Majevica mountain area.
