The XV International Symposium on Agricultural Sciences (AgroReS 2026) was held from 25–28 May 2026 in Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina, hosted by the University of Banja Luka Faculty of Agriculture.
The programme brought together researchers, experts, and institutional representatives through plenary lectures and thematic sessions on horticulture, agricultural economics and rural development, crop science, and animal science. For SWG, Session 2 on Agricultural Economics and Rural Development was particularly relevant, featuring two SWG-supported presentations: one on the development of national guidelines and an action plan for climate change adaptation in Serbian agriculture, and another on strengthening Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS) to support Montenegro’s transition to organic beekeeping.
These contributions highlighted concrete regional results in climate adaptation, innovation, and sustainable agriculture. The symposium also strengthened the visibility of SWG-supported initiatives, encouraged exchange with academic and institutional partners, and opened new opportunities for cooperation, networking, and knowledge sharing across the region.
