Fourteen (14) members of the Regional Expert Advisory Working Group (REAWG) on AKIS participated in the study visit in Germany from 8 to 12 November 2021. The participants are representatives of the ministries of agriculture, advisory services and universities/research organizations from the Western Balkans countries/territories.
The objective of the visit was to familiarize the REAWG on AKIS with the German (Bavaria, Saxony) AKIS model, understand its elements, their capacities, links and interactions, with the purpose to transfer knowledge applicable to the Western Balkans context.
The activity was implemented as part of the project Agricultural Policy Dialogue Germany – Western Balkans, financed by the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL), coordinated by GFA as the general agent of BMEL, and implemented by SWG.
