Lim Regatta an incredible celebration of tradition and community spirit


Tourist organizations of Prijepolje, Plav, Berane, Andrijevica and Bijelo Polje from Montenegro with participation of various rafting clubs from Montenegro and Serbia for 25 years organize a three day Lim Regatta on the beginning of summer season. Lim Regatta symbolically announces the beginning of summer season in municipalities in which river Lim River flows through and significantly contributes the promotion of its touristic potential and affirmation of rafting. Manifestation is opened in Plav where rafters started the first stage of Regatta from Plav – Andrijevica – Berane in Montenegro with total length of 46km.

Day two was reserved for the second stage from Berane to Bijelo Polje in Montenegro with total length of 48km. On the last, third day, participants go on the stage from Bijelo Polje to the beach Petrovac in Prijepolje, Serbia with length of 40km.

Year after year there is increase of participants and extreme sport lovers from Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Austria etc.

The goal of this manifestation is promotion of healthy lifestyle, active vacation and offer of tourist attractions throughout Western Balkan region.
