The Sixth Meeting of Regional Expert Advisory Working Group (REAWG) on Organic Agriculture was held in the scope of the APF 2023. Conclusions from the Working Group on Organic Agriculture:

The APF 2023 urges to accelerate the transposition and enforcement of Regulation (EU) 2018/848 on organic production and labelling of organic products, along with its implementing and delegated regulations. This requires active involvement and commitment of decision-makers in establishing the necessary framework for organic agriculture reform, harmonizing it with the EU acquis, and facilitating investments in this sector.

The Forum draws attention to the ambitious objective of fostering organic market growth in SEE and calls for close cooperation and coordination across various sectors, with the support of both governmental and non-governmental entities at all levels. Participants expressed their readiness to use the SWG platform for enhanced and more coherent collaboration between EU member states and SEE in advancing the organic market development.
