The Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG) in South-Eastern Europe within the project: “Diversification of economic activities in rural areas of Southeast Europe through value chain development” in partnership with GIZ will support the organization of the Event “Let’s walk over the hills of the river Rzav” and which will be held on 16 May 2021 in Visegrad, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The aim of this Event is to gathers hikers and nature lovers from Visegrad and surrounding municipalities, as well as other hiking associations from the region.
The specific objective of this Event is to promote the rural areas of Visegrad and its natural landscapes as a place for nature activities away from a crowded town. Through this event will be promoted different hiking routes that connects local villages, best nature sites and protected species, sites of the medieval thumb stones and medieval fortresses ruins. Visitors can enjoy the nature and history and buy products directly at the local villages.
This Event will contribute to promotion of outdoor activities, healthy lifestyle, and protection of environment. Hiking trail will be part of offer for future mountaineers’ groups visiting Visegrad and the region.
