The Second National Workshop on Integrating Climate Change Adaptation into Agricultural Policies was held on October 10, 2025, at the Food and Veterinary Agency in Pristina, Kosovo*. The event gathered 18 participants from public institutions, the SWG RRD, academia, civil society, and the private sector, all committed to strengthening the resilience of agriculture to climate change.
Through interactive discussions and group work, participants explored ways to align national agricultural priorities with climate adaptation goals. The sessions focused on identifying practical measures and sector-specific objectives in key areas such as livestock, water, crops, and soil management.
The workshop highlighted the importance of shared responsibility, open dialogue, and cross-sectoral cooperation in building a more sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural system. The activity was organized with the support of GIZ and the Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG), on behalf of the German Government, within the Regional Climate Partnership between Germany and the Western Balkans.
