“ABDA Info Days” for the cross border region Drina-Tara held in Municipalities of Bajina Basta, Plevlja and Bijelo Polje, 17th April 2014, Bajina Basta, Serbia and 23rd April 2014, Plevlja and Bijelo Polje, Montenegro

The purpose of organizing “ABDA Info Days” in those 3 municipalities belonging to “Drina-Tara” cross-border region was to gather proponents with different project ideas and different sectors and to discuss about the problems which they are facing with while preparing project proposals.

The Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG) in the South-East Europe launched the call for project proposals on April 7th 2014 as a start up activity of the second phase of the EU funded project:”Preparation for implementation of Area Based Development Approach in the Western Balkans” (https://seerural.org/featured/call-for-proposals/).

In total 38 participants were present on those meetings, some of them were not informed about the open Call while for most of them this was an opportunity to discuss the relevance of the ideas which they are elaborating and want to apply with.

According to the responsible from “Drina-Tara” PMU, several Municipalities but also NGO-s expressed interest for organization of “ABDA Info Day”.
