SWG participated in the Swedish Rural Parliament which preceded by a meeting with the SIDA Unit for the Western Balkans and Turkey, on 19 May in Stockholm. The focus of the meeting was the compatibility between the Sweden’s Reform Cooperation Strategy for the WB and Turkey and SWG’s mandate in general, and more specifically coming out from the Green Agenda for the WB. The conclusion was that the level of compatibility is very high, which calls for future cooperation, and which would need to include relevant Swedish institutions.
The Swedish Rural Parliament took place in Jonkoping, Sweden, on 20 – 22 May. SWG’s participation resulted in established contacts with relevant Swedish institutions which may be involved in the implementation of the Sweden’s Reform Cooperation Strategy with the WB and Turkey, as SWG partners.
