Navigating On line Sales Channels Workshops for Tourism Service Providers from Serbia and B&H


The two-day workshop was focused on the rural tourism service providers (rural households, degustation centers, eco-villages, rural households, and other providers in rural tourist facilities or for those who intend to be engage in rural tourism) with the aim to build capacity and to improve business in rural area. During the workshop, participants  learned how to use and optimize booking channels and learn all the useful functionalities of Booking, Airbnb, Airbnb Experiences and Trip Advisor, providing value-added services that will lead to great reviews, and how to respond to reviews and maintain a good relationship with guests.

Two-day Training  “Using digital sales channels/Booking, Airbnb, TripAdvisor” was held in Visegrad, Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina from 19-20 February. A total of 22 participants attended the training and were mostly representatives of small tourism service providers and Women Association’s who plan to be involved in the tourism industry. Ms. Andja Vukcevic Zoric, SWG Regional Coordinator, Ms. Andjela Djokic travel marketing expert conducted the training. Ms. Andjela Djokic was present on-line elaborating topics on the first day of training. Ms. Danica Nesevic, SWG Regional Coordinator organized training, providing logistic support and presented SEDRA II project, realized and planned activities.

Throughout the training, participants actively engaged by sharing their ideas, posing questions, and seeking clarifications from both the coach and SWG representatives, particularly concerning the topics covered in the training and their specific areas of interest. Overall, the feedback and impressions from the participants were overwhelmingly positive, with the majority expressing how valuable they found the training. It’s worth noting that no significant difficulties or challenges were encountered during the training.
