Within the two-day culinary training in Vucje, participants from Montenegro and B&H learned more about how to develop their own rural households as well trends in the preparations of food and beverages, requirements of guests in rural tourism today through best practices, added value, storytelling, paring food and beverage, safety standards of preparing food, calculation of meals/food/normative. Also, through practical work–cooking classes, participants had the opportunity to work with professional chefs and sommeliers upgrading their knowledge of preparing food.
During culinary training, participants took interactive contribution, and they expressed interest in this type of the training. Overall this workshop was with positive feedback , sharing knowledge among each other in the field of rural tourism.
The training is supported within the Project: Promotion of Economic Diversification in Rural Areas of South-Eastern Europe (SEDRA II) in SEE – Value chain capacity building on agriculture and rural tourism to promote employment opportunities supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and GIZ North Macedonia and implemented by the SWG RRD.
