Dissemination of Policy Recommendations organized in Pristina, Kosovo*
The event gathered experts and representatives of the public, private and civil sector to discuss results of assessments of agricultural and rural development policies conducted by the SWG Regional Expert Advisory Working Groups on the following topics:
- Agricultural policy developments and EU approximation process
- Soil Management
- System of controlling the quality of wine, implementation of good practices and harmonization of legislation in accordance with EU regulations
- Appellation of origin, geographical protected indication and labeling criteria of Kosovar wines in accordance with EU regulations
Comparisons were made with the policies of the countries/territories of the Western Balkans and the EU. Appropriate policy recommendations were provided for enhanced sustainable development of the agricultural sector and the rural areas of Kosovo*.
