The Guesthouse for rural tourism “Rancho i Vancho na Kata” is a 90 years old stone house located in the center of the village Omorani, North Macedonia. In 2010, it has been restored in authentic Macedonian style with aim to offer accommodation facilities and Bed&Breakfast services, for nature lovers who are eager to experience new adventures. The business is developed and conducted by all 4 family members, as a small family business. The Guesthouse is registered in the Municipality Caska as a private property for renting 3 rooms, categorized with 2 stars (comfort level).
The main goal is ensuring easy search and access by foreign customers (mainly tourists), revising the type of services/products that they sell: bed & breakfast, various activity packages, food and cooking (daily visits as restaurant type of service “book a table”), exclusive dinners, group visits, and various products selling (e.g. conserved food, cakes, organic sausages, handmade cosmetics, handicrafts, etc.).
Opening their online store https://ruraltourism.mk/ is expected to increase sales and income through simplifying their clients’ online booking and purchase and to avoid phone calls or sending messages through social platforms. It is also expected to attract in a more direct way the foreign tourists who are currently booking their place only via global reservation platforms.
