Agricultural Cluster of Herzegovina – Old Herzegovina and Slow Food Trebinje, Herzegovina with Center of Secondary Schools in Trebinje guided by the culinary chef Nihad organized two-day workshop.
As part of the project “Virtual journey through the ancestors’ traces” two-day workshop was organized during January in Trebinje, Republic of Srpska, B&H with the aim to present the importance to use local food and dishes in modern gastronomy and to animate young people to present food heritage in a creative and modern way.
Creative workshop was conducted jointly with the culinary chef Nihad Mameledžija, the director, professors and 10 students of the Public Institution Center of Secondary Schools from Trebinje.
As a main ingredient for food preparation were used traditional groceries from Herzegovina like cheese from suck #sirizmjeha, home-made corn flour from the old #Stodanjka variety, autochthon bean variety #grahpoljak, collard #rastan, smoked carp #dimljenisaran.
Ten (10) finger food snacks were selected for presentation, based on local flavors and ingredients.
