The main goal of the Association of Citizens “Jadovnik – an oasis of untouched nature” from Prijepolje, Serbia is to preserve the flora and fauna of the Mountain Jadovnik and the Gorge of the river Milesevka, as well as the development of rural tourism. In addition, the association aims to preserve nature, beauty, and diversity of the landscape of this area and creation of conditions for sustainable use and planning in the interest of science, education, culture, and recreation. The focus of the association is development of rural tourism, raising awareness among citizens living in this area and the needs of protection and preservation of the environment. The main activities are: marking the brown bear Milos, supplying food to the griffon vulture and other wild animals, arrangement of feeding grounds, organization of hiking tours a and ultramarathon that has a promotional – tourist and sports character.
Proposed activity is supported for improving the promotion and marketing of the Association of Citizens “Jadovnik – an oasis of untouched nature” and the touristic services by procurement of professional camera and optical lens. The equipment will serve the purpose of making promo videos and photos in order to attract more tourists in order to sustain operations after the COVID 19 pandemic.
