22nd Drina Regatta in Ljubovija, Serbia is the longest in Europe, with 40 kilometers long waterway took place in pleasant weather and a great atmosphere on the water for around 30,000 participants from Western Balkan and beyond. Around 1.000 boats sailed on the Drina river on Saturday, 8th July.
The days of the Drina Regatta started on the June 26 and lasted until July 9 with various sports and cultural activities. Ljubovija was visited by lots of guests, accommodation capacities were fully booked.
The Drina Regatta is a tourist brand and trademark of the Municipality of Ljubovija and on the tourist map represent the biggest event organized in Serbia.<
