Capacity Development for Standing Working Group (SWG) for Regional Rural Development – September 2012 – June 2013

The primary aim was to enable the SWG to open up the potential of regional cooperation efficiently.

The objective of the project was to support the capacity development of the SWG based on the defined strategic and operational plan. This overall objective was defined by the following benchmarks:

1. The final declaration of the 2012 APF demonstrates the willingness of members to regional cooperation (Source: Final Declaration),
2. The potential for economic cooperation in the field of organic agriculture are analyzed (Source: Study).
3. A coordinated working plan of the SWG for 2013 is available (Source: Working Plan).

This project was funded by the German International Cooperation (GIZ), on behalf of the Government of the Federal republic of Germany.
