Support to the Inbound Tourism Development in the Western Balkans Cross-Border Rural Areas

The Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group in South East Europe (SWG) organized introductory meeting with selected beneficiaries to jointly plan the activities of the technical support to be provided within the project ‘Support to the Inbound Tourism Development in the Western Balkans Cross-Border Rural Areas’.

Selected beneficiaries are service providers that jointly offer 8 regional cross-border adventure, rural and ecotourism tours in the Western Balkans countries/territories of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. These tours were selected out of 29 received tour proposals based on the criteria of quality and country/territory representation. The technical support within the project will include customized trainings and joint promotional activities.

The project is implemented by SWG and co-financed by SWG and USAID’s Economic Development, Governance and Enterprise Growth Project.
