Three-day training on the topic “Organic standards and requirements” was organized for five (5) representatives from Agro Red Gold from Kosovo* by the experts from the certification house “OK” Organic Control in Sarajevo, B&H.
Training aimed at educating on the organic concept of production and processing of fruits and medicinal herbs which will lead to the second part of the organic certification process, where the certification house will visit the plantations and premises of Agro Red Gold and if they meet all the conditions and criteria, which we were introduced to at the training in Sarajevo, they will also receive an organic certificate.
The practical part of the training was held in “MSH GROUP Organic food” an organic farm in Breza, about 50 km from Sarajevo. On this farm they were able to visit the plantations of this farm as well. As part of the training, they also had the opportunity to visit several organic farms in Trebevica near Sarajevo.
For further successful business and rounding off the complete value chain, from cultivation to sale, it is necessary to advertise the product well and approach the concept of organic production. For that purpose Catalog of organic products was prepared and designed.
