In a period January- April, 2021, SWG RRD in partnership with GIZ within the project: “Diversification of economic activities in rural areas of Southeast Europe through value chain development” supported 9️⃣4️⃣ value chain operators from the Western Balkan countries/territories to improve their operations as well as promotion and marketing of their services and activities.
The COVID_19 pandemic has affected the operations and decreased visits in the Western Balkan region. But, with the new equipment and promotional activities, it is expected to improve income and promote the services better and attract visitors to sustain/recover operations. 9️⃣7️⃣ % of beneficiaries stated that COVID_19 emergency support actions contributed to mitigate the financial pressures and allows continuation of their regular activities.

📌 improvement in Gross Value Added +18 %
📌 involvement of women has increased to 65%
📌 143 stakeholders learned about new skills on organized trainings.
