Spirit of the Serbian village in Mostar

During May, students and professors of the Hospitality and Tourism School with Dormitory – Vrnjacka Banja, Serbia promoted potentials of Vrnjacka banja spa tourism on the central square in Mostar.

The main goal of the project Spirit of the Serbian village in Mostar is promotion and linking of two forms of tourism – spa tourism and rural tourism.

Presentation of spa and rural tourism products like village wellness was presented in the scope of the activity. Through the presentation, promotional material and traditional food, students from the Hospitality and Tourism School with Dormitory from Serbia together with students from the Traffic and Engineering School from Mostar and tourism service providers from Mostar presented the spa and rural products of Vrnjacka Banja and its surroundings to the citizens of Mostar, but also to other residents of the Mostar-Neretva Canton.

People-to-people activity is supported by the project: “Promotion of Economic Diversification of Rural Areas in Southeast Europe (SEDRA II) in SEE- Value chain capacity building on agriculture and rural tourism to streamline rural employment opportunities” implemented in partnership by GIZ and Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group (SWG RRD).
